Vinous Josh Raynolds - 01 May 05
(15.4% alcohol) Full red. Flamboyant aromas of tangy raspberry and exotic oak spices. Densely packed, suave and sweet, with red berry, underbrush and exotic spicy oak notes accented by a floral tea quality. The bright, energetic raspberry and strawberry fruit carries to a sappy, juicy finish that emphasizes the oak spice. Perhaps more Sine Qua Non than pinot noir-or Oregon , for that matter-but undeniably delicious and seductive.
